I am an experienced leader and Internet pioneer. In 1998 I launched Pixelcarve out of my parent’s basement. From humble beginnings as a web design and video production company, I quickly grew Pixelcarve into a full service digital production house. In 2000 I brought on my cousin Ryan Priest as partner and Creative Director and we continued to grow the company into one of Toronto’s most innovative and creative interactive digital agencies, contributing to the dramatic growth of our clients and being recognized with a number of awards.
Forging strategic relationships with some of the country’s biggest agencies and marketing companies, I have been instrumental in redefining boutique agencies as key and lead-role players in large mass media campaigns.
In 2008 we acquired a Web 2.0 production firm JC&JC Inc, taking on new partner Jeremy Choi to add to Pixelcarve’s growing team of industry leaders, and expanding our service offering into the social media market.
My passion is leveraging business innovation to pioneer new interactive technologies for rich digital media, with a strong focus on improving the user experience and reforming how a user is engaged by content. I have been fortunate to work with a wide variety of clients in a number of industries including design, fashion, legal, financial, entertainment and hospitality. I was responsible for designing and building ground-breaking interactive training systems and digital POS for icon brands Cara Foods and Priszm Brands, as well as working with a variety of boutique companies such as Yabu Pushelberg, Gotstyle Menswear and Luxe Destination Weddings to build their online presence with enhanced brand message, usability and navigation.
I currently reside in downtown Toronto and enjoys exploring city life as well as escaping to my cottage in our very short summer.
